Can You Relate to Wings?

Hello to all the Fae!
Here's a new poll for the artists reading this..
I am curious as to all your opinions as to the necessity of wings on sculptures. I believe that some fantasy creatures do not have them! But it seems that the buyers and collectors on the auction sites are crazy about wings! It seems to me that if no wings are created, the art figure is not as popular. What do you think?
As for me, wings and tails are the most difficult for me to decide to make. I love the beauties out there with the gorgeous micro beads and iridescent colors and I wish mine looked as beautiful. I've researched all the tutorials on the web and followed the instructions, but I'm still not satisfied with my results. Anyway, I have mixed feelings about putting wings on every doll. I just don't feel they are always needed. Perhaps when my skills improve, and hopefully they will, I'll be more content with adding them to my art dolls!
