Tell us a little about yourself...: Up until June of 1999, I did a lot of various art forms, anything creative caught my interest and I had to learn to do it and do it well, myself. I had a massive right hemisphere brain stroke and was in a coma for three days. Upon awakening, I found I was paralyzed on my entire left side. After a little less than 8 weeks of aggressive therapy I was able to walk, talk and move my left limbs well enough to go home. Now after ten years of struggle and much depression, I find I am still unable to use my left hand well enough to do the delicate work I use to do. I lost very much of myself and my life including my husband of twenty years who decided that I was no longer good enough for him. However, what I have gained is what I need to talk about and be joyful over.Through all the trials, pain and heartache I have discovered that I am still a person of worth. There is still so much to live for. I still have the desire to create beautiful things. There are those who love me still. I can still use my right hand quite well. I can still use my left hand well enough that if I learn some new ways of doing things, the results will still be rewarding.Never have I lost my ability to love others nor my love for Spirit and spirituality. It is that Spirit that has carried me over and through the darkness that tried to destroy me inside as without. I say to all, Never, Never give up! The main people in your life, your children, your grandchildren and true friends will always love you as long as you KEEP BEING YOU, The person inside, the Real you, will not die unless you allow it or will it to. My special ones have loved me through and are my inspiration to go on living. Not merely existing. Knowing they are there for me has given me the strength to go on. The joy is returning to my life along with the desire to be ME again. I have plans, hopes and dreams for my future as long as life goes on. LOVE truly is the greatest force there is. Truly, God IS Love! I will create again. I will know peace, love and joy again. As long as I can give, I can receive. A life is a terrible thing to waste! Blessings ,joy, peace and love to all,
