How do I add quantity and paypal button to classified?

When I created my classifieds I didn't understand about paypal button and quantity.  I want to change it, but I can't find it in the edit.  Do I need to start over?

Hello Maren :-)  When you are creating your Classified Ad, you will have several "steps".  The first step is creating the ad itself, the description etc... the next step is adding your media (Photos and Videos) and then you have the listing upgrade step.  This is where you can "Feature" add "Attention Getters" etc... in this step you can also select to use Paypal within the ad... I created a screen shot of this step for you below :-)

 

All you need to do is click on box next to "Paypal Link for Classifieds" place your email address and the number of items.  Once all the items are sold, the Paypal payment link will be disabled but your ad will remain for the duration that you chose.  You can mark your ad "SOLD" within your account area, or you can edit the listing and increase the the number of items again.  Please let me know if you have any further questions :-)

Can this be done after the classified ad has been made?  When I try to edit the PayPal information is says "Sorry, but a Paypal button was not in your original order."  When I created the classified, I entered my paypal email address and a quantity of 0.  I then went back and changed it to a quantity of 1.  Now I want to change the quantity again and be sure the PayPal button is active, but can't.

Right, if a classified ad is created without selecting the Paypal feature to begin with, you can't add this particular feature later or edit it because it wasn't part of the original listing. 

But, you can end your ad early and then just "copy" it to a new listing. (When you end your ad, just go to "expired listings" click on manage and then "copy") This will save you the trouble of having to recreate the entire ad all over again, and then just be sure that in step three that you select to include paypal within your classified :-)

 

For the second half of your question, go ahead and give me the link to the ad you are referring to, I will see if there is something odd going on with it.  You should be able to edit the Paypal details as long as that feature was selected for this classified...if it's not working properly, I really would like to fix it for you :-)

Ah! I see what I probably did wrong.  I forgot to click the box and just put my paypal email in.  I think all seven are wrong.  I can end them and relist them properly now that I know how.  Thank you for all your help.
