What is the difference between using the "PayPal payment link" feature and Sending a FaeBae invoice?

Basically what the PayPal payment link does is generate a link in the winning buyer's notification e-mail they receive so that they can click to pay for their purchase via PayPal.
This is done automatically, it's not an invoice, it's just a payment link with the winning bid/buy amount and any additional costs you have entered.

A PAY NOW button will also appear in the winning buyer's FaeBae account if you use this feature and it will also let them pay you.

YOU MUST HAVE YOUR PAYPAL PAYMENT EMAIL ADDRESS set in your MY INFO area first and select this feature during the listing process or else the link will not be generated.

Again, in order for this to work, Sellers you MUST enter your PayPal payment e-mail address in your "My Info" area of your Account first. You have the option of using this feature for each individual listing.

Any costs you put into the "Additional Handling" "Insurance" or "Flat Rate Shipping" fields will automatically be added to the final total due to your buyer. So only use these fields if you want to set flat rate cost for these additional items.

You DO NOT have to use the PayPal feature or the additional cost fields, however if you don't, you will need to invoice your customer either directly from your own PayPal account or use the NEW FaeBae Invoice Tool.

If you have a buyer who has not responded in a reasonable amount of time and you are using the PayPal payment feature, send them an e-mail and ask them to please check their account for a payment link. You can always invoice your buyer manually through PayPal, just reference the item # and verify your shipping costs and final total (s)

USING THE FAEBAE INVOICE TOOL:
The FaeBae invoice tool is a beta feature that will allow you to select which items to "combine" ship for a customer who has purchased multiple items from you, or invoice a single item at a time. Just go into the "Uninvoiced" items area of your account, select which items to add to your invoice and create your FaeBae invoice which will be sent to your customer. You can add custom shipping, tax and other fees to the invoice as well as a personal message. If you make a mistake, simply delete the invoice and start over. Once you recieve payment from your buyer, mark the invoice paid to reset your Account Receivable total and update your Buyers Account's payable total. It's that simple!

If you happen to see a feature or function behaving oddly, you are more than welcome to report it, however, we are aware of most bugs at this time and are addressing them all asap.
